Whitey Somers Releases New Video for “GONE”
Whitey Somers Music has released the brand-new video for “GONE,” a rootsy country blues track with a ramblin’ train-rider vibe about moving on, freedom, and living large with nothing but a guitar and the open road.
The track showcases Whitey Somers’ unmistakable style — heartfelt storytelling and authentic roots-and-blues drenched grooves.
The song features legendary blues artist David Essig on slide guitar, along with the swampy rhythm section of Todd Sacerty on bass and the late Nick Dokter on skins.
“GONE” appears on Whitey Somers’ album The Call Of The Blues and is also featured in the newly released comedy/horror film The Killer Balloon – ’Til Death Do Us Part.
Whitey Somers is currently up for four International Singer-Songwriters Association Awards and continues to gain recognition for his original blend of roots, blues, and storytelling-driven music.
